The Grocer Advertising and Marketing Industry Awards 2008 recently named BEcause Brand Experience Agency of the Year for the fourth time in five years.
Run by The Grocer magazine, the ceremony was held at The Brewery in London early this month. The agency also won a creative award for its Yakult campaign entitled Working on a Healthy Society. Other big name agency winners included ad agency Bartle Bogle & Hegarty and design firm Landor.
BEcause previously won the brand experience award in 2007 and 2005, the inaugural year of the category. In 2004, the agency won the former Service & Field Marketing Agency of the Year category under its former name of LoewyBe.
Commenting on the accolade, Sharon Richey, managing director of BEcause, said: “The Grocer is widely regarded as the ‘bible’ for the grocery industry, so to win an Agency of the Year Award four times in five years is a fabulous achievement. It’s a testament to the strength of all the team here at BEcause, and I’d like to thank everyone of them for the outstanding work they’ve produced again this year.”
