The X Factor makes a triumphant return to the Emirates Stadium for the 2008 London auditions. Simon, Sharon, Louis and Dannii are back for four days in June to pick the finest raw talent London has to offer. The stadium serves as the perfect venue to host the hopefuls who are looking impressing the judges with their singing talent.

After the success of last year's auditions, Steve Brice, head of hospitality for Emirates Stadium Events, welcomed the return of the popular TV talent show. "We are absolutely delighted to have The X Factor back,” he said. “Its return highlights the versatility of the stadium as an events venue. It shows just how much of an impact the stadium's glamour, size and design has on its visitors. In fact, the Emirates Stadium is fast becoming one of London's most distinctive landmarks and expectations are high after last year’s achievements, which included winning best venue at the Visit London awards."

Delighted to be returning to the Emirates for this year’s auditions, the series producer Mark Sidaway said: “We have had an overwhelming response to the London auditions, and there is no doubt in my mind that Emirates Stadium Events will ensure the event has the all important 'X' factor."

Live auditions will be held in Dial Square, one of the Emirates’ four main suites, which can hold up to 2,000 people at a time. Contestants will calm their nerves in the Champions corner bar.
