Internal communications and live events specialists the THA Group is now wholly owned by founding shareholder and chairman Kevin Ingram following his acquisition of the shares of his two former partners – Nick Robinson and Ian Williamson.
Formed in March 2006, the result of a merger between THA – owned by Ingram and Robinson, and Q Group – owned by Williamson, THA Group has an annual turnover of over £40 million and offices in the UK, Belgium and the USA.
Ingram takes up a new, strategic role as president of global sales and account management, supported by Darren Gilbert, appointed as chief executive officer. Robinson and Williamson remain with THA Group and will be responsible for supporting key clients and generating new business. In 2007, the THA Group board was restructured to enable directors to focus on more consultative, client-facing activity.
Ingram’s latest move signals THA Group’s vision and ambition for the future. “The strong, highly skilled team that’s now in place coupled with ongoing investment in our people and a more streamlined operation will enable us to become a significant global player by 2010,” he said.
