Following the launch of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) section on its website, Eventia, the events industry association, is now searching for case studies.

These could be from a venue, hotel, transportation supplier, caterer, agency, etc, and should describe the activities of organisations that have focused on a particular aspect of CSR in their business, whether economic, social or environmental. Templates for each of these can be found at www.eventia.org.uk/csr.

Downie: Encouraging companies to share their CSR expertise

"We want to encourage companies incorporating inspiring CSR practices in the running of their business to share their stories with others within the industry with the aim of showing how simple changes can make a big difference and to encourage others to do the same," said Eventia executive director Izania Downie.

The online section, dedicated to supporting members in the arena of CSR, forms the next stage of support following the successful launch of the association's One Future initiative – a toolkit to help deliver lower carbon events.
