The WorldWide Technology Watch (WWTW) competition will form part of EIBTM’s increasing focus on new technology solutions for the meetings industry. The competition is dedicated to discovering the latest technological innovations that will have a positive impact on meetings, events, incentive travel, conferences and exhibitions.

This year, Corbin Ball, director, Corbin Ball Associates, will be chairing the awards. “I am delighted to again chair the EIBTM Worldwide Technology Watch for 2007," he said. "EIBTM continuously recognises the importance of technology in the meetings industry and I am sure that this year we will have many strong applications for this award.”

Previous winners have found commercial backing and positive publicity through presenting their products to the industry at EIBTM. Winner last year, Johan Box, director of LOG ON, claims: "Since winning the EIBTM WorldWide Technology Watch, visits to our website have been the highest ever. We have had immense recognition throughout the industry, increased promotional coverage and interest in our products. We are now seeking investment for growth. The EIBTM WorldWide Technology Watch is a great opportunity and we would urge companies to enter in 2007!"

To enter the WWTW awards or to find out more about the judging criteria, please visit www.eibtm.com/wwtw. The closing date for entries will be 7 September 2007 and judging will take place before EIBTM 2007.
