The International Centre, Telford, has appointed Jonathan Powell as its new business development manager.

Powell joins the team at the conference and exhibition venue after working in corporate events and hotels in central London.

His latest role was as business development manager at KDM Events, in Staffordshire, where he was responsible for attracting new business and building relationships with existing clients.

He has also organised and delivered a wide range of events, including team building, family fun days and corporate entertainment with well-known names such as Tony Blackburn, Keith Chegwin, John Virgo and Frankie Dettori.
