Silverstone Circuits has released details of its official trackside hospitality packages for the 2009 Formula One Santander British Gran Prix.

After his heroic exploits in treacherous conditions last July in front of a three-day sell-out crowd, Britain’s Lewis Hamilton, has cemented his name on the summer sporting calendar.

With an accompanying surge in interest, Silverstone is warning the corporate community that only official tickets guarantee trackside facilities and hospitality within the perimeter of the circuit.

Details on a variety of packages to enjoy the carnival atmosphere of Britain’s premier motorsport occasion have been released, including the excellent viewing positions at Copse, Brooklands and Vale corners. Each ticket includes centre access, viewing from terraces, all-day chef’s table and full complimentary bar, as well as VIP wallet containing itinerary, information, directions and tickets.

“Wimbledon has Murray, Wembley has Rooney and Silverstone now has Hamilton,” said Silverstone’s managing director Richard Phillips. “We were a complete sell-out on all three days in July, and the support for the young Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver is such that we are preparing for an even earlier run on sales this year.”

The cost of hospitality packages vary depending on the number of days you wish to attend the event, takes place from 19-21 June. Prices range from £200 (Friday ticket) to £1,100 (Sunday ticket). Weekend tickets (Saturday/Sunday) range from £995-£1,165.
