Central London conference and events venue, Congress Centre, has recently invested heavily in a new advanced intelligent lighting system for Congress Hall, the largest room at the venue.

The £30,000 intelligent lighting installation by manufacturer Avolites, suppliers of lighting for numerous high-profile music events including the Glastonbury Festival, incorporates multiple gobos and enables lighting to be pre-programmed to focus in and out, change colour, project images and move around to great effect.

How illuminating: Congress Centre's newly lit auditorium

"The new lighting system is very versatile and can achieve pretty amazing results,” said the venue’s director Robert Girvan. “It will bring an instant wow factor to events staged at Congress Hall."

In addition to the new lighting system, which also involved the installation of a new double AV desk, Congress Centre has upgraded all its radio receivers, lapel, hand-held and top table microphones.
