It’s looking like it’s going to be a busy autumn for events industry association Eventia as it rolls out its educational programme.

Events will cover corporate social responsibility (CSR), health and safety, and developing the skills of new and recent entrants to the events industry.

Following on from a successful Golf & Lifestyle Day, and the Industry Networking Party at the Movieum in September, Eventia continues its partnership with Visit London with the Sustainability Seminar on 27 October at 15, Hatfields, London.

Topics include de-mystifying BS8901 and issues around implementing the standards for the 2012 Olympics. There will also be a panel session. This is a free event for Eventia members, but places are limited. To register please email tracy.johnson@eventia.org.uk

Events in Action is Eventia’s one-day training workshop for people wishing to gain a better understanding of the world of events, including conferences, incentive travel, corporate hospitality and other corporate events.

Taking place on Tuesday 28 October at the Park Plaza Riverbank, 18 Embankment, London, delegates will be taken through all stages of event planning, from development, implementation and evaluation.

Speakers with proven expertise from leading events agencies will share their insights and best practice at each stage of an event’s life cycle.

If, however, you wish to find your way around legislative issues concerning health and safety, then Eventia’s Health & Safety Seminar on 28 November at The Royal College of Physicians, 11, St Andrew’s Place, Regent Park, London, could be for you.

You can also hone your sales skills and discover how better to work towards and achieve your goals in today’s competitive climate with a Sales Training Workshop at the Barbican Centre, London, on 24th November.
