The Corporate Manslaughter Act and its impact on the events industry has been featured in more than just the industry media recently. The issue has caught the nationals' imagination, with The Times referring to the Act as a “blow to the burgeoning events industry” and “the end for macho team building".

As a result, the issue is lead feature on today's (21 December) BBC Radio 4's You and Yours programme, and John Hooker, director – client delivery specialists at THA Group is appearing to highlight how the Act could actually provide an opportunity to further elevate the professionalism and experience of the events industry.

Hooker will also be discussing the importance of risk assessment when planning events.

If you can't catch to show today, you can listen to it at your leisure by visiting www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/progs/listenagain.shtml

John Hooker will be writing an opinion article for EVENTS:review on the Corporate Manslaughter Act and its impact on live marketing early in the New Year.
