Paul Deighton, chief executive of the London 2012 Organising Committee, will give the key note address at the first European Event Conference, which is to be held at London’s The Brewery, on Monday 30 April 2007.

Deighton leads a high-profile line up of international speakers from the UK, Germany, the US and Canada at the industry conference, which is entitled ‘Future Thinking’.

Sponsored by Visit London, ‘Future Thinking’ is designed to challenge many of the traditional views of the industry, providing examples of how event businesses can confidently grow in the changing European Event environment and showcasing a series of Masterclasses, delivered by a range of industry experts from around the World.

The conference has been organised in partnership with students from Thames Valley University and is designed to benefit everyone involved within the events industry. In addition to the conference, delegates can also attend an after Conference Party, providing further networking opportunities.
