David O’Beirne has been appointed commercial director at ExCeL Invision. David has a wealth of experience within the exhibitions industry, having held various senior positions,including managing director of Telegraph Events (a joint venture between EMAP and The Daily Telegraph with a portfolio including The Period Homes & Gardens Show, The Money Show, The Florida Property Show and The Self Build Homes Show) and new business development director of Stanco Exhibitions.

In this most recent role, David managed the sales, marketing and joint venture activities for Stanco across a period that saw its revenues grow to record levels just prior to acquisition by the Opex Group in June this year.
