Car part giant drives across Europe

Automotive product manufacturer DuPont recently embarked on its first ever roadshow marketing campaign in Europe.

Starting in Poland on 25 September, the Driven by Science tour will visit the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania and Turkey until mid-November.

The aim of the campaign is to showcase its products and technologies, highlight benefits by providing demonstrations from its extensive automotive product range, and generate sales leads.

To take its show on the road, DuPont is using a branded 13.6-metre vehicle supplied by Event Marketing Solutions (EMS), for which the contract was worth in excess of £100,000. This is one of the largest vehicles in EMS’ extensive fleet, offering 55 square metres of internal space for product displays and information, including plasma touch screens.

“This will be a slick, hi-tech roadshow that will create standout for DuPont in the highly competitive automotive solutions marketplace, taking its extensive product offering directly to the car manufacturers,” said EMS account director Justin Isles.

“The logistics of such a wide-ranging European tour will be challenging, but with our growing experience in non-UK roadshows – including not just Europe, but also Russia and the Middle East – we are confident of success.”
