Microsoft with be holding its premiere annual user technical education and networking event, Tech-Ed EMEA 2008, at the CCIB in Barcelona on 3-14 November.

More than 9,000 developers, designers, IT professionals and IT managers are expected to attend to gain an insight into Microsoft’s strategic vision, the latest products and access to considerable technical education on Microsoft products, technologies and services.

The event gives both IT professionals and developers the opportunity to choose from over 1,000 unique learning opportunities, ranging from lecture presentations, community activities, group discussions, hands-on self-paced computer learning and instructor-led computer courses. There’s also a myriad of entertainment and informative activities, ranging from exhibition and networking receptions to country delegate parties.

Experiential, film and digital agency FITCHLive is producing and providing marketing support for the 15th annual Tech·Ed EMEA event. In addition to the design and logistical elements of the event, FITCHLive will be responsible for providing all aspects of the broader European marketing and demand generation programme that will include: direct marketing; the design and development of all web tools, sponsorship and exhibition sales and management support; and all community-driven initiatives, such as linking delegates with influencers, connecting attendees with content and providing interactive platforms such as forums and blogs.

“The collective 15 years’ experience that FITCHLive brings to Tech·Ed EMEA means that we have an in-depth knowledge of our audience and can meet the evolving needs of this audience through new, innovative and increasingly more interactive solutions each year,” said FITCHLive project director Neil Evans.

“FITCHLive has set out to deliver an enhanced customer and partner experience in terms of how attendees access content both pre-event and on-site in terms of event elements such as the sales website, the creation of Tech·Ed EMEA TV and a re-developed community environment that will enable greater interactive dialogue with the attendees.

"Attending Tech·Ed EMEA is about staying ahead of the game, and Microsoft has employed FITCHLive to give them an edge in terms of how we deliver this experience to an increasingly important and influential community of delegates and partners.”
