Two of the live marketing and events industry’s leading technology brands have agreed a partnership that will increase the efficiency of meeting and events procurement for venues. The agreement between Parrimark Technology and Availability Systems, creators of VenueCheck, will aid venues by ensuring compatibility between both companies’ software products.

Now venues using Parrimark venue and event management software, Events Perfect, will see their availability inventory seamlessly updated throughout the VenueCheck distribution network the moment it is confirmed. Furthermore, buyers accessing the venues meeting availability can be confident that the inventory they see is real time and not dependent upon manual input.

“This is good news for us as we’re keen to help our clients manage their meetings and events business as efficiently as possible,” said Michael Scroop, chief executive and founder of the Parrimark Group. “This is also good news for venues as they are saved the inconvenience of updating multiple systems manually following a booking.”

Commenting on the partnership, Availability Systems managing director Andrew Finley said: “VenueCheck is specially designed to speak to third-party management systems and so acts as a networking hub for in-house software. It is this type of compatibility that buyers are demanding. It’s important that new technologies work together otherwise the process will be fragmented and key benefits of time and cost savings will be lost.”
