The US International Film and Video Festival 2008 honoured global
events company Jack Morton Worldwide recently, awarding the global
events agency with Best of Festival (Grand Prix) for Corporate
Productions for ‘KPMG Graduate Recruitment Film’.
The accolade
was presented at a ceremony held in Hollywood earlier this month and
was judged by representatives of the International Quorum of Motion
Pictures Producers, an organisation of the world’s top production
companies.
“Jack Morton Worldwide achieved the perfect synthesis
of story telling and production technique in its quest to help KPMG
recruit new college graduates,” said Lee Gluckman Junior, chairman of
the US International Film and Video Festival. “Clearly, the film
presented KPMG as a dynamic place to work, which means it met its
client’s goal, a most important aspect of success.”
Jack Morton
received two of the three nominations for the Grand Prix at this year’s
festival, the second being for its production ‘IBM Hermitage Film’,
which was also awarded a Gold Camera award. Other awards received
included a Gold Camera award for ‘IBM Global Innovation Outlook Africa
Series’, a Gold Camera Award for ‘Tour for the September 11 Memorial
& Museum Exhibit Film’, a Silver Screen award for ‘Nokia 4th
Screen’ and a Certificate for Creative Excellence for ‘Statoil Hydro –
The Energy Challenge’. This is the third consecutive year that the
agency has been honoured at the festival.
“We are thrilled to
receive the highest award at this prestigious industry event,” said
Jack Morton Worldwide managing director Julian Pullen. “We are very
proud of our work in film and video and it is fantastic to receive this
level of recognition from the wider industry. We look forward to
continuing to develop creative and compelling work in this very
exciting field.”
