Confex Group has announced a new strategic partnership with Opex/Stanco Exhibition Services, which will see a new shell scheme introduced for International Confex 2008.

This development comes as another improvement from last year’s show, where the octanorm classic build was used for the first time. This year will see the introduction of Modul by Opex, "which will create a completely new look for the show giving it a sharper, cleaner and much more open feel, allowing more light and ambience onto the stands", according to the organisers. A new lighting system will also be used on the stands "allowing for a much more modern approach to exhibiting".

As well as developing the shell schemes, Opex/Stanco will also be responsible for building all of the pavilions at next year's show, as well as the two seminar theatres. Each theatre will be different, one incorporating the new Modul style and the other a one-off display – not using modular components, but adding more flair and creativity.

Damian Bush, account director at Opex/Stanco Exhibition Services said: “We are very excited to be working with Confex again on this creative project. The Modul system will significantly enhance the look and feel of this flagship show and upgrade the exhibiting experience to an even higher level."

Duncan Reid, Event Director, Confex Group added: “This is a great opportunity for Opex/Stanco as well as a fantastic way for Confex to show off the very best in new exhibition design.”
