Vauhall’s Meriva and Zaffira brands have been confirmed as the headline sponsors for Nick Jr’s fourth annual ‘Jump Up’ festival for under-fives. Nick Jr is the commercial preschool TV channel from Nickelodeon UK and it’s annual festival will welcome 21,000 preschoolers and their parents.
The headline sponsorship deal with the family car brands extends Nickelodeon and Vauxhall’s partnership for 2007’s ‘Nick’s Big Trip’ summer promotion, which earlier this month scooped a Gold prize at the Institute of Sales Promotion’s Awards.

Vauxhall will open Jump Up’s live stage show with a presenter-led musical entertainment segment. There will also be an integrated logo on stage and a 30-foot ad running on the large LED TV screen in between show performances. A Vauxhall Meriva and Zafira experiential area in the event grounds will entertain families with specially created Vauxhall art cars for the kids to draw on, display cars for the adults and a virtual photo pod.

Nick Jr’s Jump Up, the UK’s largest free annual children’s event, invites under fives to join in the fun and adventures with the best in preschool entertainment from Nick Jr, including the hit shows Dora the Explorer, Peppa Pig, Go Diego Go!, Fifi and the Flowertots, LazyTown, Thomas & Friends and The Backyardigans. Toddlers will enjoy show-themed activity play zones, healthy food options and a spectacular musical stage show featuring their favourite Nick Jr characters.
Nick Jr’s Jump Up 2008 will be held at the Milton Keynes Bowl from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 July.
