RPM, the experiential marketing agency, has been listed 20th in the Sunday Times’ Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For annual survey, making it the top brand experience agency to be employed by.
In only its second year of entering, RPM has improved 14 places from its 2006 position, and has been praised for its strength within the categories of personal growth, giving back, belonging and leadership. The ranking comes with a three star Michelin accreditation, the most awarded, seeing the company rise from the two stars rewarded in 2006.
Particular areas of excellence highlighted by staff are its stimulating variety of work (82%), and the agency giving a sense of personal growth (85%). And it’s clear that staff love working at RPM, with that question gaining an 86% positive score aided by an incentive scheme that includes yoga lessons, barbecues on site and days off in lieu of event days.
Commenting on the survey, Hugh Robertson, managing partner at RPM, said: “As a business we create and deliver fantastic brand experiences on behalf of our clients, and it’s a huge achievement to be recognised now as doing the same for our own employees. We believe there is a direct corellation between our staffs’ wellbeing and the quality of the output of the agency, and we are extremely proud of both.”
RPM’s 67 strong team of staff proved some of the happiest in the UK out of the 29,000 surveyed. Senior managers and managers were praised for living the values of the firm, with scores of 87% and 85% respectively, with Robertson cited as an inspirational boss (86%).
