Award-winning caterer Dish has landed the preferred caterer contract at Dali Universe, the popular gallery of the famous surrealist in County Hall. The two-year contract is a coup for Dish, which already has a close working relationship with the Dali Events team.
With this in mind Dish is looking to extend its contract portfolio within venues around London. “It’s great news for Dish,” said director Nick James. “The venue caters for both day and evening events, and can be incredibly versatile. Being the preferred caterer allows clients the benefits of a one-stop shop from design, production and catering.”
With this new vision, Dish has just appointed a new executive chef – Nick Whitehouse – to accommodate these demands.
Dish is known for its innovative dishes and serving styles for events and won the CEA Caterer of the Year in 2005. Nick Whitehouse will take Dish’s vision a step further and launch Dish’s new gastronomic concept at the RSVP Show in March this year. This new concept will be the signature food style at the Dali Universe, whether it be a day time conference a reception or evening dinner.
For examples of Dish’s recent work, look no further that recent major parties in London. Recently, the company catered for socialite Andy and Patti Wong’s celebrity crammed Chinese New Year party at Madame Tussauds, as well as the WAGS Boutique Launch and Frank Skinner’s birthday party at Dali Universe. The launch of the Royal Mail’s Beatles stamps also took place at Dali Universe where Dish’s canapés were served on genuine Beatle’s vinyl. Dish also catered for the Agent Provocateur body oil launch at the Fox Club attended by Sadie Frost, Thandie Newton and Sam Taylor-Wood.
