The 2008 Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Awards will be hosted by EC&O Venues, in Earls Court 2, on 4 June.

Nigel Nathan, managing director of EC&O Venues, believes that this is the perfect time for the event to return to EC&O. "Our special events business (awards, parties, fashion shows, banquets) is booming currently. This year we've seen L'Oreal, Toni and Guy, Woolworths, M&S, Lloyds TSB, Abbey and Philips all holding big events in our venues – and we're delighted to bring this accumulated experience to bear on the industry's awards ceremony."

Hilary Lawson, AEO director, is confident the 2008 AEO Awards will mark a new high in the event's history: "EC&O Venues has worked with us to set up what promises to be a stunning event. Guests can look forward to a spectacular occasion in a venue that is spacious enough to accommodate the pre-lunch drinks, the awards lunch, the presentation and the after-show party. We're assured of fantastic food, surroundings (courtesy of CS Media, producers of the industry-leading L'Oreal Colour Trophy Awards) and atmosphere."
