This year’s Exhibiting Show, which took place at Earls Court 2 for the first time, has been hailed a winner by the organiser, exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition appears to have further reinforced its position as the gathering place of the events industry and the platform for top-level networking and meaningful business.
Having moved to its new venue for 2007 to further develop the range and profile of its visitors, the feedback from exhibitors and visitors indicates that the event has reached the next level, with companies reporting high-quality leads from right across the sector. Attendance was also up around 30% on last year.

“The Exhibiting Show gets bigger and better every time. It continues to deliver a top-quality audience and looks absolutely fantastic,” said Laura Moody, managing director of stand design company Nomadic Display.
Meanwhile, Colin Stone, exhibition manager at transport company 24/7 Exhibition Services, said: “The show was well organised and well attended – we established many new leads.”
From a visitor perspective, Hugh Keeble of Imago was more than happy with the event. "We regularly undertake reviews of our suppliers and the Exhibiting Show is the perfect place to see what's new and how companies actually perform," he said. "In fact, I liked the show so much this year that I sent my Ops Team down the following day!"
Education was a key part of this year’s event and the programme of seminars were particularly well attended throughout the two days, with few seats available for visitors who had not pre-booked. What’s more the Ops Club for exhibition organisers saw over 50 of the industry’s top names visiting the show to take part in the discussions and workshops.
“The move to Earls Court was a major step forward for the Exhibiting Show,” said Simon Burton of Exposure Event Creations, which organised the event. “It looked fantastic in its new setting and exhibitors pulled out all of the stops to create stunning exhibition stands. The programme of seminars, workshops and live demonstrations created another important dimension to the show, and ensured that visitors went away not only inspired but also having gained a more in-depth knowledge of their sector and new business opportunities.”
Exhibiting Show 2008 will take place on 25 and 26 June at Earls Court. For more information, visit www.exhibitingshow.com.
