The British Association of Conference Destinations (BACD) has announced that its newest “cleansed” data is available for purchase by members, affiliates and organisations associated with the UK’s conference, meetings and events industry.

According to BACD, its team “have been busy cleansing the 15,000 UK contacts made up of agents, associations and corporates, which can be tailored to meet companies’ exact requirements”.

BACD can now provide detailed searches of contacts, the types of venues they use, their preferred locations and their size of events.

“We understand the need for high-quality data in order to generate strong leads and increase sales,” said BACD chief executive Tony Rogers. “The data we supply is regularly updated and profiled, therefore you can be guaranteed the best possible contacts for your marketing campaign. It can be used for a wide range of projects, from enhancing your current database, attracting targeted visitors to your event, informing buyers of your presence at key events, mailing new buyers and generating new business.

"What’s more, we offer a substantial discount to both members and affiliates, making it worthwhile to become a member in order to take advantage of significant savings, as well as enjoying many other member benefits.”

Leo Platt, conference executive at destination marketing organisation Visit Manchester, who has recently purchased BACD data, commented: “I am very impressed with the returns we have obtained. BACD made the process simple and straightforward and I have found their contacts to be of a high calibre too.”
