dmg world media has appointed Opex to build all of its shows in the UK for the next four years. This organiser’s portfolio of major events includes the spring Daily Mail Ideal Home Show, the autumn Ideal Home Show, the two Scottish home shows, the Metro Ski & Snowboard Show, the Vitality shows, the Ordnance Survey Outdoor Show and Bathroom and Kitchen EXPO.

“We awarded this contract to Opex due to its fantastic levels of customer service, its forward thinking approach and the commitment shown by the entire Opex team towards helping make our shows a success,” said dmg’s operations director Andrea Wilson.

Meanwhile, Andy Gibb, group managing director of Opex, said: “I am extremely pleased that we will be taking our relationship with dmg to another level. We firmly believe that by forming creative and mutually beneficial working partnerships with organisers we can make a real difference to both the exhibitor and visitor experience.”
