With just days to go before the managing directors of events supplier Ice Box and PR agency Davies Tanner participate in this year’s Karma Enduro Rally, London venue ExCeL became the latest industry supporter to help the pair on their way to raise in excess of £20,000 for charity.

Robert Wright, the managing director of business tourism PR and marketing agency Davies Tanner, and Philip Hughes, managing sirector of Ice Box, the UK’s leading ice sculpture, ice design and ice art specialist, will set off on 5 November and spend 14 days trekking across the challenging terrain of India in one of India’s most iconic motor vehicles; an Ambassador.

“We’re really appreciative that ExCeL London has shown its support to this worthwhile cause. As we count down the final days before we put the pedal to the metal for two weeks across India – having the backing from key players in our industry such as ExCeL will undoubtedly keep us going,” commented Robert Wright.

Other supporters from the industry include Confex Group, London Eye, Church House and the MIA.

The duo will be raising money for the people of Kodaikanal, a town in the Palani Range of Hills in South India. The proceeds of their fundraising will be donated to The Adventure Ashram Project, which is working towards improving the standard of living in the Kodaikanal area through the implementation of new education and health facilities.
