Sue Woodward has been appointed the new managing director of FreshRM, the joint venture company co-created by Reed Exhibitions and Montgomery Exhibitions and proprietors of IFE, Wine+ and other specialist food and drink exhibitions.

Woodward was responsible for the city-by-city focused Wine+ brand that launched earlier this year in London and is set to tour the UK and Europe.

"I am delighted that Sue has been given this opportunity to spearhead our interests in this sector,” commented Reed Exhibitions UK managing director, Alastair Gornall. “Her appointment is just reward for her commitment and proven abilities to lead and develop brands and teams alike, and I wish her every success in moving the business forwards.”

Sue Woodward: Success with Wine+ led to promotion

She succeeds Andrew Evans, who leaves FreshRM in January to join Brand Events, which recently enjoyed a healthy development fund from Ingenious Media. Evans will join Andrew Morris and Chris Hughes on the board of the flamboyant live brand experience company. His own experience and network in the food and wine space appears to be the perfect complement to the Taste brand, as well as creating the potential for a focused consumer wine experience.
