A meetings and conference venue has opened in Adelboden, Switzerland, offering stunning views of the Alps.
The Solís Cambrian Hotel & Spa’s modern design incorporates a “private and quiet dedicated area for meetings and small conferences”, with two boardrooms and a large event room, which has its own terrace with panoramic views of the Alps, ideal for breakout, weather permitting.
The two boardrooms vary in size, one seating up to eight, the other up to 10. The large event can accommodate 70 people seated and 140 for a cocktail reception. This room can also be divided into two smaller spaces.
All rooms feature designer furniture and state-of-the-art presentation equipment, while an indoor breakout room serving all the meeting spaces has comfortable sofas and striking photographic art on the walls. This central breakout area is only a short walk to Nova, the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant, where a private seating area is available.
Delegates can also enjoy the delights of the hotel’s spa, featuring a heated outdoor swimming pool, complete with massaging water spouts, sauna, Turkish bath and well-equipped gym. Both facial and body treatments are available, using the 100% natural products.
During the winter, team-building exercises can be organised on the mountain slopes, while there is an adventure park in Adelboden, complete with rock climbing, abseiling, rope walking and a host of other challenging activities for the summer months. Groups can also go llama trekking into the mountains.
