When it comes to staging a party the country’s capital is where it’s at, according to a survey among the UK’s leading event organisers.

The study, conducted by RSVP Magazine, set out the top 20 places in the UK to hold an event or party. Of those 18 were in London, including top five entries for Madame Tussauds, Rainforest Café, Vinnopolis and The City Rooms.

“The annual venue poll, voted for by the readers of RSVP, is a barometer for what's hot and what’s not on the events scene; which venues are being used and recommended by creative event planners across the UK,” pronounced Mike Fletcher, editor of RSVP Magazine and good friend of EVENTS:review.

Meanwhile, David Hornby, commercial director for Visit London, added: “The results show the creativity, diversity and quality found at London’s top venues. It is these venues which make the capital such a great place to hold an event, party or celebration.”
