Event organisers can now get a real insight into exactly what Telford International Centre has to offer, thanks to a new-look website.

The venue, which consists of purpose-built exhibition and conference spaces with full support facilities and on-site hotel accommodation, has revamped its site (www.ticuk.com) to bring it in line with its current branding and promotional literature.

“We have worked closely with the designers to maximise our use of the very latest technology, and we now believe the website can play a key role in promoting the centre,” said marketing manager, Jo Parton. “We’ve improved the navigation on the site to create tailored sections specifically for conference organisers, exhibition organisers, visitors and a section featuring the latest news from our venue.

“Our aim is to help visitors to the site find the information they need quickly and easily, without wasting time ploughing through details that are not relevant to their enquiry. Event organisers are always pressed for time, and increasing the efficiency of our website to make their lives easier should help us to boost our chances of securing their business.”

From the home page, visitors to the website are directed to the most relevant pages depending on their needs. An Out and About page has also been added, which gives details of bars, restaurants, entertainment and places of interest in Telford and the surrounding area.

“We wanted to make sure that event organisers get the complete picture of just how much The International Centre and the Telford area has to offer,” Parton added.
