State-of-the-art Midlands venue, The International Centre, Telford, has let its customers decide on the theme for its 2007 Christmas parties.

Clare Kimble, who is the new public events organiser at the venue, said: “We asked our guests at last year’s Christmas Dallasty events what they’d like to see for 2007, and the school days theme was the overwhelming favourite.”

As a result, Shropshire partygoers will get the chance to relive their schooldays during this year’s festive season at The International Centre.

The names of those who suggested the winning theme were put into a draw, with the winner taking away tickets for a table of 10 at one of this year’s party nights, as well as five bottles of wine.

“I helped to organise the 2006 festive events, but thanks to my new promotion, 2007 will be the first time I have been responsible for planning and organising the entire party season,” said Kimble. “We’ve had fantastic feedback from the partygoers who have enjoyed our themed events over the last four years, and we’re confident this year’s programme will prove just as popular.

“Planning is already well under way to bring a real flavour of school parties to the events, and a school headmaster has been recruited to attend each night and ensure everyone sticks to the school rules.”
