This June will see the arrival of Las Vegas glamour to London’s West End.  The Casino at The Empire will be London’s largest casino, offering modern and sophisticated gaming, drinking, dining and an events venue all under one roof.

Ranged over a 56,000 square feet on the landmark site of the former Empire Ballroom in Leicester Square, The Casino will offer eight event spaces: including two restaurants, destination bars, a boutique ice creamery, nightclub, versatile conference room and VIP balcony bar.

Las Vegas style in London's Leicester Square

The ground floor houses the main casino where a dramatic fire-and-ice chandelier cascades down on to the central bar, flanked on both sides by stunning, sweeping, illuminated staircases. Also at ground level are a separate chill-out lounge and a private multi-use conference suite, with its own intimate bar, accommodating up to 120 people.

Both restaurants are situated on the second floor and offer diners a wide choice of cuisine. This restaurant accommodates up to 65 guests and has a classic and intimate feel.  The second restaurant is a noodle and sushi bar, an informal eatery seating up to 45.

The second floor also houses a stylish member’s lounge. The Shadow Bar is an exclusive nightclub with resident DJs playing until the early hours. Named after the world-famous dancing girls of Las Vegas, the lounge will feature shadow dance performances three nights a week.

One of The Casino’s most innovative attractions is a boutique ice cream parlour and patisserie, which was inspired by the entertaining bespoke ice creameries of America. Here, guests can order a made-to-taste ice cream to be mixed on a marble slab right in front of them.

A VIP lounge at the front of the building offers the perfect vantage point over Leicester Square from its stunning balcony.

The building has been designed by leading Las Vegas entertainment architects, the Paul Steelman Design Group.
