The Retirement Show, a new event dedicated to those who are retired, semi-retired or aspiring to retire, is to launch in the Olympia National Hall in London this July.

The show will cover a variety of areas related to retirement – health, mobility, finance, property, hobbies – as well informative seminar programmes on a range of topics for visitors wanting to make the best of their ‘golden years’.

Extensive research was carried out into whether there would be sufficient demand for such an event, with very positive results, and organiser Dr Robert McCaffrey is confident the show will be a success.

Interest in the Retirement Show has been high from exhibitors and visitors, promising an exciting and busy event. With over 20 million people in the UK aged over 50 – accounting for over 80% of the UK’s wealth – the show fills a much-needed gap in the market to help those approaching, or thinking about, retirement by providing information, advice and different options for their ‘golden years’.

Jeremy Rees, Exhibition Sales Director, EC&O Venues said: “The Retirement
Show is a welcome addition to our busy calendar. With big name exhibitors such as SAGA already confirmed for the show, this launch event is a perfect demonstration of how relevant, targeted exhibitions can really deliver value for a specific audience.”

The Retirement Show takes place from 13 to 14 July, 2007 in the Olympia National Hall.
