The Brewery is joining forces with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to help train keynote speakers to deliver their messages more effectively through speech training for large events.
The partnership is designed to help boost speakers’ confidence, and so become more effective communicators by developing the voice as the most important communicating tool. RADA tutors are experienced in guiding aspiring actors to hone their own performance skills and equally for corporate speakers by teaching them how to overcome the barriers to a successful delivery.
Reflecting the time restraints of businesspeople today, all RADA’s courses will be made available either on location at the Brewery, or at the trainee’s workplace.
The initiative is part of the award-winning London venue’s aim to constantly evolve its offering by responding to customer demand. With event expenditure put under the microscope by procurement departments, the need to impart messages to the audience in a concise, digestible manner has never been greater. While stage and sets may be changed to suite a particular theme, it is the spoken voice that is integral to imparting the message, be it for motivation, training or celebration.
Liam Byrne, concept development brand manager at the Brewery, said: “The provision of a highly innovative RADA course will help add real value to our clients’ events by providing them with a powerful new skill set designed to help deliver that perfect event – a great return on investment for our clients’ events.”
