London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games

The bringing together of London and the Games represents the combination of two of the world's truly iconic brands, set to deliver an exceptionally high quality environment for future business.

The Olympic Park lies at the heart of London's plans for the 2012 Games. Just 1.5 miles from ExCeL London, this 500-acre site in Stratford will provide a compact, secure and easily accessible home for the Games.

Nine new venues will be situated within easy walking distance of each other.

The main 80,000-seat Olympic Stadium will host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, as well as the Athletics events. Additional venues include the Aquatics Centre, Hockey Centre, Velopark and the Olympic Village. ExCeL London will also host 6 Olympic events and 5 Paralympic sports.
